HydraWrap™ is a Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) system that provides nonmetallic chemical and corrosion-resistant structural repair to both thin-wall and through-wall degraded pipes and infrastructure. It is a combination of high-performance epoxies and custom-made carbon fiber fabric that forms a composite matrix with very high tensile and flexural properties. The HydraWrap™ installation and repair method is designed to curve, turn, or fold in whatever shapes or sizes are needed.
There are four unique HydraWrap™ FRP systems: 1) Standard, 2) Acid-designed for applications with high chemical resistance, 3) High temp-provides structural repair for applications up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and 4) Potable Water NSF-approved for the rehabilitation of potable water systems.
American Energy Products HydraWrap™ repair system meets or exceeds each client’s specifications, whether it is intended for power generation pipelines, gas pipelines, industrial process pipelines, or secondary containment. Importantly, it is compliant with such standards and regulations as DOT, ISO, and NSF/ANSI61.
With the HydraWrap™ FRP system, there are no common ground-water contaminants or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Further, there is no loss of service, as external repairs can be conducted while in service.
